Bullying is more prominent today than ever before, especially amongst high school kids. Often time it involves groups of boys or girls ganging up on one another. But in a disturbing video, one high school boy is seen beating up a blind boy. What happens next is inspiring. Just at the bully is hitting the helpless blonde boy, another boy, named Cody Pine, interferes and clocks the bully in the face, knocking him down to the ground.
You can see a cluster of kids gathered around the fallen boy and Cody says…
“He’s punching a f*cking blind kid, bro,” Cody said. “What the f*ck is your problem? I swear to God, if you f*cking f*ck with this kid again I will f*ck you up.”
You most certainly don’t want to teach your kids that physical abuse is good, but in this case, Cody’s parents really should be proud that he went out of his way to stick up for someone who was being bullied and didn’t have a chance.
The video was filmed at Huntington Beach High School in Southern California and the bully has been identified as Noah. He was later arrested for beating the visually impaired teen, named Austin. It’s hard not to want to applaud Cody and cheer him on because he really is a hero in this incident. Unfortunately, he did get suspended from school for the incident.
“What is this world coming to when you beat up a blind teen? Thank god for those who intervene and protect them.”
“Good for you Cody. I am sorry you got suspended. The school should have held an all student assembly to honor and congratulate you for your heroism. There need to be more people like you in this world.”
“Good job Cody … Would have done the same.”
And then someone mentioned the fact that one of the teens in the video is heard defending Noah…
